The "Devils Brigade" or First Special Force Unit, was formed in 1942 during WWII. The V-42 Stiletto was issued to the members of the devils brigade who refered to it as the "Force Knife". The modern American and Canadian special operations forces trace their origins to this elite unit.

Made from SK-5 a modern high carbon steel suitable for large knives as well as tomahawks and axes. Its hardness grade is 57-60 HRC.
